SARA VIALE a native of Torino Italy, graduated from prestigious "Academie de la Danse Princess Grace" in Monaco, Monte Carlo. She was accepted at the "Compagnia di Danza Nuovo Torino" and later joined the renowned Italian company "Aterballetto". Uwe Sholz, director of the "Zurich Ballet" asked her to join his company, where she performed solo and principal roles. After Eldar Aliev, former principal Kirov star and director of " Ballet Internationale", discovered her talent. Sara moved to Indianapolis where she was rapidly promoted to principal dancer. Many roles were created especially for her and she fast became an audience favorite. Her critically acclaimed performances have been also reviewed in Japanese and Russian Ballet Magazines. Her photographs have been featured on covers of Magazines, Commercial for Capezio, postcards and newspapers. She was named "The artist to watch" by the Indianapolis Monthly Magazines.
Her repertoire includes: Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote", Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker, Carmen, Phaedra in the Fleming Flindt production, The Firebird, Terpsichore in Balanchine's Apollo and many other classical , romantic and neoclassical ballets.
Sara has taught master classes in some of America's finest dance school, and since 1994 has been a Ballet instructor at the Professional Division of the" Clara Noyes Academy", under the direction of Vladilen Semenov (former Kirov Director) and Irina Kolpakova" (internationally renowned star of the Kirov Ballet in St. Peterburg, Russia).
ERLENDS ZIEMINCH born in Riga Latvia, received his primary Vaganova training at the outstanding "Riga choreographic Institute, the very same Academy that formed the world famous artists Mikhail Baryshnikov and Alexander Godunov. After eight years'intensive ballet training, he received his Professional Performing Art Diploma and was accepted into the" Latvian National Opera and Ballet Theatre". He soon reached Principal Status dancing leading roles and toured throughout the world. Because of his rare partnering skills, he was asked by Carla Fracci (the Italian Prima Ballerina assoluta) to become her partner. In 1990, he left Latvia and joined Indianapolis Ballet Theatre under the direction of Dace Dindonis and George Verdak. After only few months in the U.S.A. He was personally invited by Peter Martins to join New York City Ballet where he danced numerous principal roles created by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins and Lynne Taylor-Corbette. His repertoire includes leading roles as: Albrecht in Giselle, Siegfried in Swan lake, Basil in Don Quixote, Desire in Sleeping Beauty, Concerto Barocco, Symphony in C, Firebird, Vienna waltzes, Nutcracker, Diamonds, Apollo, Jose in Carmen and many others. Erlends continued to study the art of dance at the School of American Ballet with Stanley Williams and Andrei Kramarevsky.
He has been a faculty member of the "Ballet Internationale Academy" under the direction of Vladilen Semenov and Irina Kolpakova (former Kirov stars) where he further developed his teaching skills. He has been invited to dance and teach as guest artist in many of the most acclaimed American companies and Ballet schools .Because of his intense interest in the full potential of the human body, after extended studies, he has become a Professional Kinesiology Practitioner and adapted in his teaching a system that enables student to realize their hidden abilities.
Ms. Jones trained on full scholarship at School of American Ballet and has performed with Radio City Music Hall, New York City Ballet, School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and as a company dancer with both San Diego Dance Theater and California Ballet.
Recognized as an American Choreographer at the 2012 International Ballet Festival of Maiami Beach, she's choreographed works for Columbia University, Starlight Theater, California Ballet Company, Coronado High School, and more.
Films produced by Ms. Jones and Adriene Hughes have screened at the NY International Independent Film Festival at Paramount Studios (2012) and also at the OK Dance Film Festival and Mostra Internacional de Videodanca de San Carlos.
Ms. Jones is a guest master teacher for Cornish College of Arts, a ballet and modern teacher for the Jillana School, and she has worked both as a teaching artist for American Ballet Theatre's Educatiion Department and as a company instructor for California ballet Company.
She relishes the opportunity to talk about ballet and, occasionally, the mathematics of movement, with people of all ages.
